About Quadradyn

A founder-run Type 07 manufacturer built around Hornady’s Advanced Rifle Cartridge family, and the first business to sell an ICAR-magazine-compatible AR to the public.

Quadradyn is a small, founder-run arms company in Pompano Beach, Florida. It exists because one cartridge family deserved a rifle designed around it rather than adapted to it.

01 // The founder

James, Quadradyn’s founder, has spent twenty years working with firearms. He is a certified gunsmith, a certified armorer, and a certified Cerakote applicator, and he still does the work himself: the fitting, the gauging, the finishing, and the test firing behind every product on this site.

20Years of firearms experience behind the bench.
3Certifications: gunsmith, armorer, and Cerakote applicator.

07Federal Firearms License type, held with a Class 2 SOT registration.

02 // The idea

In 2024 James envisioned Quadradyn as a business focused on the new ARC calibers from Hornady, the Advanced Rifle Cartridges, starting with 6mm ARC. The cartridge delivered long-range efficiency and low recoil from a compact platform. What it lacked was a rifle and a magazine designed for it from the start.

03 // The pivot

In early 2026 Quadradyn built and tested an AR-15 prototype in 6mm ARC. It worked, and it carried the compromise every AR-15 in 6 ARC carries: a modified magazine with no true double stack. When ICAR-magazine-compatible lower receivers were released to the public in mid-2026, Quadradyn set the prototype aside and rebuilt the rifle around the magazine the cartridge always needed. The result is the SARC-6.

A first

With the SARC-6, Quadradyn became the first business to sell an ICAR-magazine-compatible AR to the public.

04 // What comes next

The rifle is the beginning. Quadradyn is branching into software, starting with Quadradyn Conquer, FFL management software with a planned free core release, and into anti-robotics defense, the field our Intelligence desk has been tracking as armed ground robots move from demonstration to deployment. In 2027 Quadradyn expects to offer two new firearms to the public, including one in a completely new caliber.
